This is my flash class project from term two that I did with Erica Edwards. It really was a lot of work and still I think that I don’t get flash at all… hopefully that will change next term. Meanwhile I’m going back to Mexico City and I’ll try to stay away from my computer at least for one week.

This is my final project for the motion design 2 class. I wanted to make a jazz music video using one single shot and play with black and white images and very bright colors. I also used a light with trapcode particular plugin to generate the stroke and soundkeys to sync the color of the background and the stroke to the beat of the song. And last but not least… the talented Nicolas A. Girard is playing all the instruments…

I spent the last couple of days doing this infographic with Erica Edwards as part of the Interactive Design Class. It contains all the information we’re going to use in our final project for the flash class… It was really hard to fit all the content in just one page, but I think it doesn’t look too bad.

Last weekend we shot our term 2 final projects for motion design. All I can say is that it was a very loooong day. These are some pictures of my green screen footage and now I have 4 weeks to do all the post…

Character Animation

So this is a character animation for my post class made in after effects. Basically all the animation is made parenting layers instead of using the new puppet tool that I still don’t like very much. Also I used Lux plugin in a 3d space to create the lights and shadows. I want to thank monsieur Girard for all his help on this project… color scheme… french translation… voice over… Hope you like it, and if you don’t understand it use the translator widget or try to figure it out.
